So here's the plans and elevations of our house. We have planning permission, have paid our local amenities (erm, what local amenities!?) and we're just waiting until things are ready for us to submit the commencement form and we're off. woohoo!! I've been bust sending the plans to companies to get quotes for timber frame, it's an option we're looking at, and getting our figures together to go to the bank manager with our hat in our hands. Also trying to figure out which route to take with regards to geothermal, solar power, wind turbins, wood pellet etc. We want to avoid oil completely if possible as it's such an unstable source and prices are probably going to remain at a ridiculous high, plus lets care for mama nature and do our little part in helping the world out.
